Do you see yourself taking to the stage as a stand-up comedian? If so, get yourself signed up to our brand-new stand-up comedy course coming in autumn.
We encourage adults aged 18+ with an interest and a love for comedy to book a place and give it a go.
During sessions, you will be introduced to the business of writing and performing stand-up comedy, within which, you will learn a variety of different joke 'types' and 'structures', and how to write them. You will also gain an insight into the elements of stagecraft, incorporating ideas about status, persona, attitude, and delivery.
No prior knowledge is needed... simply a passion for creativity and comedy.
When: Sessions will commence on Tuesday 1 October and will run every Tuesday for 6 weeks from the times of 7pm-9pm. On the 7th week (Wednesday 13 Nov) you will perform your work to a public audience in a live final showcase.
